Young Indonesian Talented Scientist from SGU

 Food Technology Department lecturers from Faculty of Life Sciences and Technology of Swiss German University, Dr. Maria DPT Gunawan Puteri received a grant as “Young Indonesian Talented Scientist” to attend Humbold Kolleg-The Voice of ASEAN Researchers in conjunction to with International Conference on Natural Sciences (ICONS) 2014on 25-28 September in Malang, East Java.

MIT Community Service at CIMB NIAGA IT Security and Awareness Forum Executive

 As part of Swiss German University (SGU) Master of Information Technology (MIT) Community Service, on 23rd October 2014, Charles Lim, Bsc., Msc., ECSA, ECSP, ECIH, CEH, CEI one of SGU MIT lecturers and researchers conducted a security awareness seminar talk to CIMB Niaga Top Level Management Team in a periodic CIMB Niaga Information Security Seminar.

SLiMS Workshop

 As one of our commitments to supporting the local community, Swiss German University collaborated with Universitas Multimedia Nusantara and conducted a workshop for librarians in Tangerang and the surrounding areas on Thursday, 16 October 2014 in Swiss German University with theme “Union Catalog Initiative Using SLiMS”. SLiMS is the open source software for the library management system which was developed in 2007 by system librarians from The Indonesian Ministry of Education. The workshop was attended by 18 participants which consisted of 11 school librarians and 7 university librarians.
