General Requirement

  1. The candidate should be in Class XII of high school/equivalent and/or should not be older than 22 years in the first academic semester.
  2. All candidate must join and pass SGU Entrance Test that consist of Written Test & Interview, except ones who choose PMDK Pathway.
  3. Candidate must choose only 1 (one) out of the 3 (three) Admission Pathways provided:

i. Scholarship pathway.
ii. Regular pathway (including Transfer Student).
iii. PMDK (Penelusuran Minat dan Kemampuan) pathway.

  1. Candidate who has passed Entrance Test and chosen a pathway (Scholarship or Regular) can get particular discount based on the payment batch or any promotional discount available, except one who choose PMDK since it has its own criteria.

General Admission Required Documents

a. 1 copy of High School report for Class X, XI, and XII legalized by the principal.
b. 1 copy of ID Card (KTP/SIM/Passport) for Local Students.
c. 1 copy of Passport & KITAS for International Students.
d. 2 photographs of 4×6cm (in color, with red as background).
e. 1 copy of Birth Certificate (AktaKelahiran).
f. 1 copy of Family Certificate (KartuKeluarga).
g. A doctor’s certificate stating that the student does not suffer from color blindness (Life Sciences & Technology students only).
h. 1 copy of High School official certificate (IJAZAH SMA/SMK/MA), legalized by the principal (once it is published).
i. 1 copy of High School official transcript (SKHUN of SMA/SMK/MA), legalized by the principal (once it is published).
j. Candidates graduating from overseas or an international high school should legalize/”penyetaraan” the high school certificate through the Ministry of National Education of Indonesia or do take IJAZAH Paket C.

Registration Procedure

1. Registration (Starts 1 September 2017 for Intake 2018)

  • Fill in the online registration form and follow the instructions (CLICK HERE) OR download enrollment form HERE and submit to SGU Campus, The Prominence Tower, Jl. Jalur Sutera Barat No. 15 Alam Sutera Tangerang 15143
  • Make sure you fill in the form completely and correctly

2. Payment Registration Fee Rp. 400.000,-

  • By cash to Admission Department at SGU Campus, The Prominence Tower, Jl. Jalur Sutera Barat No. 15 Alam Sutera Tangerang 15143
  • By bank transfer to Yayasan Swiss German University, BCA Branch BSD, Tangerang, Account number 497-056-0578, and send the transfer receipt to Admission Department at fax number +62 21 2977 9598 (Please confirm to us by phone on +62 21 2977 9596/9597 once your fax has been successfully sent) or to admission@sgu.ac.id

3. Confirmation

  • Entrance Test Registration Number will be sent via email to your email once we have received your transfer receipt
  • The required documents must be completed at least 2 days before the Entrance Test

Notes:

a. Registration is an administrative process for future student who plans to study at Swiss German University (SGU) by completing all mandatory requirements.

b. Registration period is open throughout the year from August to July next year and it can be accessed both Online and Offline (manual).

c. All candidate must fill out or complete the Registration Form (both Online and Offline) before joining the Entrance Test.


Entrance Option

There are three options for Swiss German University entrance. Candidate students can choose whether join the Regular Pathway, Scholarship Pathway or PMDK (Penelusuran Minat dan Kemampuan). Please read the term for each option below.

1. Regular Pathway

Regular pathway is a normal entry procedure for the prospective student who wants to join SGU through the SGU Entrance Test with the particular subjects and it is given without any scholarship commitments.

Regular Pathway Registration Process

  1. Candidate Student fill up and or pay the Registration Form.
  2. Prospective Student must submit all required documents and pass the Entrance Test. The Entrance Test consist of Written Test and Interview.
  3. All required documents and Entrance Test result will be reviewed by New Student Admission Committee.
  4. The result will be announced and if the result is satisfactory. the Acceptance Letter & Study Fee will be issued and given to the prospective student.
  5. Candidates can see the result on SGU website www.sgu.ac.id 3 days after the test and will be sent enrollment documents to email and home address, that were previously recorded.
  6. Only pass candidates whose names will be appeared

2. PMDK Pathway

PMDK (Penelusuran Minat dan Kemampuan) pathway is a special admission pathway without Written Test, however the Candidate must follow the Interview only; and it is given without any scholarship commitments.

To be eligible in PMDK Pathway, the Prospect must be to high school graduates who have good academic scores in class X or XI with a minimum average score of 75.00 in 3 (three) selected subjects. Those selected subjects are:

  • Natural Science class (IPA): English, Math, and Physics/Chemistry.
  • Social Science class (IPS): English, Math, and Economics/Accounting.
  • Language class: English, Math, and Foreign Language other than English.
  • Vocational School: English, Math, and Special Major Subject.

PMDK Pathway Registration Process

  1. Candidate Student fill up and or pay the Registration Form.
  2. Candidate Student must submit all required documents (including Report) and pass the Entrance Test. The Entrance Test consist only the Interview.
  3. All required documents and Entrance Test result will be reviewed by New Student Admission Committee.
  4. The result will be announced and if the result is satisfactory. the Acceptance Letter & Study Fee will be issued and given to the prospective student.

3. Scholarship Pathway

Swiss German University offers a various range of scholarship for undergraduate program. The scholarship program covering semester fee with amount up to 100% from semester 1 to semester 8.

Scholarship awards can be based on a variety of category, namely Academic Achievement, Competition, Recommendation and Education. Before you apply for a scholarship, please read the criteria and eligibility requirements for each scholarship carefully and pay attention to the application deadlines.
