The SGU decision on granting or not granting the award/scholarship is final and no further discussion will be entered into once the decision is made.

Award/scholarship selection Process:

1. Submission of all required documents and pass the entrance test
2. Required documents and test result will be reviewed by admission committee
3. Qualified candidates will be invited for an assessment interview
4. Announcement of result

Academic Achievement Award

Deadline of Submission: 30 January 2012

Requirements:

1. Fulfilment of required documents of registration
2. Passing SGU entrance test with a minimum result of Math (75) English (500) assessment (75)
3. Result of high school report should be above high school average for every semester in high school
4. Recommendation letter from high school principal
5. Pass the SGU assessment interview
6. Essay of minimum 400 words in English describing why SGU should provide you with an award

Amount of Scholarship: Up to 50% discount of development fee and 1st semester fee

Condition if granted: Tutorial Assistant for the first year and become SGU ambassador.

If the award is declined: Automatically transferred to the regular track

Sport/Art Achievement Award

Deadline of Submission: 30 January 2012

Requirements:

1. Fulfilment of required documents of registration
2. Passing SGU entrance test.
3. Certificate/award from national/international competition (award based on sport/art achievement)
4. Recommendation letter from high school principal
5. Pass the SGU assessment interview
6. Essay of minimum 400 words in English describing why SGU should provide you with an award

Amount of Scholarship: Up to 50% discount of development fee and 1st semester fee

Condition if granted: Active participation in student organization and become SGU ambassador.

If the award is declined: Automatically transferred to the regular track

Foundation Scholarship

Deadline of Submission: 18 May 2012

Requirements:

1. Fulfilment of required documents of registration
2. Passing SGU entrance test.
3. Result of high school report should be above high school average
4. Recommendation letter from high school principal
5. Pass the SGU assessment interview
6. Essay of minimum 400 words in English describing why SGU should provide you with scholarship
7. Financially disadvantaged statement from local authority (kelurahan)
8. Will be graduating from national high school by June 2012

Amount of Scholarship: 100% discount of tuition fee for whole semesters

Condition if granted: Scholarship holders will be reviewed annually by considering academic achievement. Scholarship holders must become SGU ambassadors.
