“Make-up for Success”, is a one-hour free make-up session by the beauty consultants of The Body Shop. In this workshop the participants are given the chance to learn how to apply basic make-up correctly and all the participants will be awarded with certificates.
There will be two sessions of “Make-up for Success” starting at 10.30 and 13.35 in Room FA 307. The first 40 participants who register via e-mail or SMS will enjoy a free cupcake.
The participants and the visitors of EduFest can buy The Body Shop products at a special price.
“We believe that a good impression is very important, not only in communication world, but in our daily life as well. So we provide this opportunity for anyone who wants to ‘beautify ‘ themselves.” Says Hamzah Ramadhan, one of the Project Managers.

“Press Room” is a free workshop about news broadcasting, where the participants can experience broadcasting news and being recorded first hand. Two alumni of Swiss German University, Astrid Wibisono and Asri Nirmalawati, who are working as news reporters in RCTI and Metro TV as well as Ramadian Bachtiar, a documentary filmmaker, will judge the performance of the participants and give them personal advice for their future and they also will be granted certificates.
The workshop will close with a “Question and Answer” session with the two alumni where participants can ask questions about journalism and also about the Communication and Public Relations Department at Swiss German University.
Chandni, the coordinator of “Press Room” says, “Press Room is unique. Everyone wants to know how it feels like to be on TV and with this workshop they not only get to broadcast news but also to understand how news is made. It is a fun way to learn.”
Both of these workshops are free of charge and open for prospective students and anyone who is interested in participating.
