Information and Communication Technology have developed tremendously in the last decade. We have witnessed how the Internet and computer technology plays such a major role in everybody's lives. There is no question that there is an ocean of possibilities open to graduates who qualify in this field. A degree in information technology provides graduates with the opportunity to apply creative energies to a field that is revolutionizing almost everything we do, especially the way we communicate with each other, how we conduct business and the way we experience entertainment. SGU Faculty of Information Technology is a broad subject concerned with technology and other aspects of managing and processing information, especially in large organizations.

The Faculty was founded in year 2000 and been accredited by the National Accreditation Body for Higher Education, Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia with the decree number 010/BAN-PT/Ak-X/S1/VIII/2006. The Faculty also provides outstanding teaching and research in the field of information processing and Distribution. By integrating its computing and information tehnologies disciplines, the faculty provides enormous breadth and depth of teaching and research to the campuses, strategic alliances, centre, and partnerships.

This course aims to provide IT graduates with the skills and knowledge to take on appropriate professional positions in Information Technology upon graduation, and grow into leadership positions. The Faculty introduces students to the most up-to-date developments in the industry in :
