3rd Semester
Mechatronics and Business Engineering
The internship for Mechatronics and Business Engineering departments is conducted, in cooperation with PT Siemens Indonesia, at the Vocational Training Centre (VTC)-PT Siemens Indonesia. The internship modules contains training in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering and programming, in theory and practice.
Biomedical Engineering
The internship for Biomedical Engineering is also conducted at the Vocational Training Centre (VTC)-PT Siemens Indonesia. The training module for Biomedical Engineering stresses the electrical and measurement fields.
After completing the training at the vocational training centre, students normally do a two-week observation in hospitals. The following are the hospitals which have accepted SGU students for observations:
- RS Gading Pluit
- RS International Bintaro
- RS Kanker Dharmais
- RS Siloam Gleneagles Karawaci
- RSUD Fatmawati
- RS Global Medika
All Other departments
The internships for students from Business (Business Administration, Accounting and International Business Administration), Life Sciences (Food Technology and Pharmaceutical Engineering) and Social Sciences (Communication and Public Relations) are undertaken in companies/institutions for 6 months.
Students from Hotel and Tourism Management undertake a 6-month internship in the House Keeping and Front Office departments.
For the Information Technology faculty the internship is divided in 2 parts: professional certification training, and internship in companies/institutions.
