Life Sciences students on Kalbe Junior Science Fair 2012

JCC, Saturday 8 September 2012. Life Sciences faculty students joining with Komik Sains Kuark performed in the Kalbe Junior Science Fair 2012 held on Saturday and Sunday, 8 and 9 September 2012 at Jakarta Convention Center.

The students demonstrated science in the way kids can understand. The demonstration was packaged in a funny and interesting way so the kids were not running around and remained seated in the whole demonstration.

Erico Himawan demonstrate magic baloon

“Magical baloon!,” one of the kid yelled when Eriko Himawan, Pharmaceutical Engineering student semester 3 stabbing a needle into balloon and it didn’t explode. At the end of the show, Eriko showed how he did that.

On the main stage, students collaborated with some of the Komik Sains Kuark staff performing a science drama titled “The Adventure of Doktra the Science Detective,” on Saturday and on Sunday they performed Paper Plane Festival and some science magic.

In those two days, the students performing 12 shows with various topics such as gravitation mystery, the magic of air, angry ball, amazing baloon, ping pong ping, sensitive solution and confused solution, and play with energy.
