SAP Training for SGU Students to Enhance Business Software Application Skills
SGU, 19 Feb 2010. A two week SAP training was held in Swiss German University campus to educate the young 3rd semester students. The training consisted off 2 weeks Cisco training, 2 weeks of SAP.NET training, and another 2 weeks web design training. This training was aimed at the application of business software skills which are now widely used in large companies.
Big corporations and companies in handling their resources such as customers or invoice can't rely on a sole centric database application system with manual entry from one administrator. It is a bottleneck process that will slow down the business process of the corporation itself.
Therefore, SAP provides services to automate the business process in the corporations or companies, enabling the flow to be swifter. SAP also provides distributive database access which will extend the data size but maintain the swift access to the data itself.
Students in the IT faculty who participated in this training had to not only know how to operate the application, but they had to understand how a company business process works. From managing purchase orders or invoices to stock or customer entry, they learned how to operate the application as well as getting a hold on the business process.
Hopefully, the students will not only be IT data entry administrators but also business analysts who will be vital for whichever company they work in.
