Alumni’s Talk Session: Road to Being World Class Engineer

Swiss German University Industrial Engineering Study program held an Alumni’s Talk session with the theme of “Road to Being World Class Engineer”, presenting successful SGU Industrial Engineering alumni from various industries and institutions. The event was held on Saturday, 15 December 2018 at SGU The Prominence Tower Campus, Alam Sutera.

There were three alumni of Industrial Engineering department as the speakers during this event. The first speaker was Waldorf Hutagalung. He is an alumnus from 2010 batch, who works at PRA Health Sciences, a contract research organization based in Berlin, Germany, as the Statistical and Clinical Programmer. The second speaker was Adrianus Gunawan. He is an alumnus from 2011 batch, who works as Ocean Freight Manager at Yamato Indonesia Forwarding, a global freight forwarding company. The last speaker was Reyhan Adiel, an alumnus from 2011 batch. He works at Adidas Germany as a Senior Manager Production Engineering Adilab.

In the event, the three prominent speakers shared about how they took benefits and applied their knowledge and skills obtained during their study at SGU in the real job. They also shared about present and future challenges in the industry, specially in the field of Industrial Engineering. They also gave several tips and motivation to the current students of Industrial Engineering department so they will be ready to become a professional world class engineer.
