During the meeting, they expressed bonds of goodwill and exchanged views on matters of academic as well as the vocational higher education system. SGU, in especially FEIT, has a unique system that enables students to acquire cognitive and (hands-on) skill aspects during their study. Students must not only be able to demonstrate their cognitive ability by means of academia but also as engineers they must be able to realize the academic exercise in real products (the hands-on skill). The meeting culminated in the signing of a plaque commemorating the visit of Prof. Dr. oec. Ernst Buschor as well as mementos bestowed by the Dean of FEIT to him. A photo session together continued with a visit to Mechatronics and the facilities laboratories.
